Hays have partnered with a global manufacturing business with their Australian HO based in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. They are recognised for their attention to detail in bespoke products, excellent service delivery and emphasis on customer satisfaction. Due to new acquisitions, they are expanding in finance to keep up with demand and business growth.

Your new role

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for:

• Monthly financial and management reports
• Timely tax returns (BAS, PAYG, FBT etc)
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting
• Maintaining a fixed asset register
• Assist with year-end statutory accounts
• Stock control and reconciliation
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Accounting or Business
• CA/CPA qualification or working towards is highly desirable
• 3+ years in a similar financial accountant role (or senior Assistant Accountant level)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in ERP accounting software and advanced on MS Excel
