Your new role
As an APS6 Finance Business Partner, you'll provide financial insight and strategic advice to business units across the Department. Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts
- Preparing monthly and adhoc financial reports with value-added analysis
- Supporting budget development, monitoring, and forecasting
- Advising senior stakeholders on financial strategy and performance
- Ensuring compliance with financial frameworks and policies
- Collaborating with internal teams to drive financial accountability and outcomes

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A current Baseline Security Clearance
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) preferred, not mandatory
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Demonstrated experience in financial management and business partnering, within the APS
