About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, with full responsibility for operational delivery, financial performance, team leadership, and strategic development.

This is a hands-on, high-accountability role where you’ll shape systems, lead teams, and directly influence growth outcomes across Western Australia.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team including supervisors, trades/engineers, and support staff

Oversee commercial and operational performance across maintenance and project streams

Strengthen systems, workflow, and compliance to support scalable operations

Build and maintain strong client relationships across government and corporate sectors

Monitor P&L performance, gross margins, forecasting and reporting

Drive staff performance, recruitment and development to support business expansion

Contribute to growth strategy, tendering, and potential future acquisitions

About You

You might already be a General Manager in a similar business. Or, you might be an experienced Operations Manager, Commercial Manager or Senior Project Manager who’s ready for the next level. Either way, this role is ideal for someone with the capability and confidence to lead a business, and the hunger to make their mark.

We’re looking for someone with:

Strong leadership experience in electrical, commercial maintenance or services contracting

Commercial acumen with a solid understanding of job costing, cash flow, and client delivery

A proven ability to lead, develop and grow teams and systems in fast-moving environments

Confidence liaising with senior-level clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Trade background or tertiary qualification (electrical or business) is highly regarded
