We have a unique emphasis on structures, such as bridges, and leverage our expertise in timber to maximise the serviceable life of these critical assets. Timber Insight is not your average contractor—we specialise in extending the life of critical infrastructure, and we’re looking for an experienced and inspiring General Manager to lead the charge.

The Role

As our new General Manager, you’ll take full accountability for the day-to-day operations and future growth of the business. You’ll lead projects, people, and performance—ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional outcomes safely, efficiently, and profitably.

This is a unique leadership opportunity to:

Oversee multi-site infrastructure and maintenance projects.

Drive financial performance and strategic direction.

Champion safety, team culture, and continuous improvement.

Develop new business and deepen client relationships.

You’ll work closely with the CEO, and play a central role in Timber Insight’s continued growth and impact across the region.

What You’ll Bring

10+ years in senior operational, project, or general management roles—civil, infrastructure, or maintenance preferred.

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related.

Proven ability to lead teams, deliver multiple projects, and manage P&L accountability.

Deep understanding of construction/maintenance (bridge or timber structure experience is a big plus!).

Knowledge of Main Roads WA and regional delivery is highly regarded.

White Card + C Class Driver’s Licence (must-have).
