Valley Hops Brewing is a rooftop brewery, bar, and dining destination perched above Cloudland, in the vibrant heart of Fortitude Valley. Our menu is designed for a hands-on experience — no cutlery needed! We cook with fire, using a charcoal grill and wood-fired pizza oven to deliver bold, smoky flavours and authentic character.

We’re currently seeking a career-minded kitchen professional with a strong work ethic, passion for food, and excellent communication skills to join our dynamic and growing team.

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Experience:

- Genuine passion for cooking and working in a high-energy, fast-paced kitchen.

- Ability to follow venue menu planning and preparation processes.

- Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation.

- A keen eye for detail with a proactive, positive attitude.

- Solid business acumen and understanding of efficient kitchen operations.

- Proven ability to lead by example and foster a creative, organised, and team-oriented kitchen culture.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills.

- Self-motivated, with a drive to continuously challenge yourself and deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).

Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen or restaurant environment.

Roster:

Wednesday to Sunday – Lunch and Dinner shifts.
