About the role

As an Architectural Draftsperson / Architect at DBD', you will play a crucial role in the delivery of exceptional architectural design and project outcomes. Reporting to the Senior Architect, this full-time position based in East Victoria Park, WA, will see you contributing your technical expertise and creativity to a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects.

What you'll be doing

Preparing detailed design drawings, sketches, and 3D models for architectural projects

Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design specifications are accurately interpreted and implemented

Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into workable design solutions

Ensuring all design documentation adheres to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards

Providing support throughout the construction phase, including responding to queries and addressing any technical issues that arise

Continuously improving design processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Architecture or a related design discipline

Minimum 3 years' experience as an Architectural Draftsperson or Architect, preferably within a design consultancy

Proficient in using Graphisoft Archicad.

Strong technical drafting and 3D modelling skills

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret and translate complex design requirements

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work seamlessly within a team
