The iconic Harrigan’s Hunter Valley located in the heart of Pokolbin’s famous Hunter Valley has an exciting career opportunity for a Duty Manager.

Harrigan’s attracts a large number of local, state-wide, national and international visitors, so it is imperative that applicants for this role are confident with exceptional presentation skills.

This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining a culture, structure and ambience to create a customer service and community focused Hotel that sets a local benchmark.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Proven track record in all operational aspects of the hospitality/liquor industry with sound food knowledge.

Experience running quality accommodation is a positive.

The ability to successfully lead, train and develop a team to achieve the very best in service and standards.

Experience with TAB, Keno and Poker Machine operating and reconciling essential.

Self-motivated and task driven with strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and to be able to produce daily takings reports as well as weekly updates on trading.

Be knowledgeable on the relevant Liquor, Gaming, Food and Industrial Relations legislation and licensing requirements.

Work well under pressure, with the ability to multitask.

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gambling certification.
