We are looking for a driven, collaborative, and technically skilled Senior Project Manager – Water Efficiency to lead the development of Council’s next Water Efficiency Strategy. This is your chance to take the reins on a strategic, sustainability focused project that will influence how our region manages one of its most precious resources into the future.
In this role, you will work across internal and external teams to drive the project forward – managing timelines, budgets, key stakeholders, and consultants, while also bringing your expertise in water to the table to lead with purpose. You will be supported by a multidisciplinary working group and an external stakeholder advisory group, giving you a unique opportunity to blend technical leadership with strategic project delivery.
This 12-month fixed-term contract (with the possibility of a 12-month extension) offers the chance to make a real and lasting difference.

What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor of Engineering in a relevant field (Civil or Environmental), or other relevant tertiary qualification.
Recent and significant experience in the Australian water industry, focused on project management, water efficiency, demand management and engineering.
Practical and applied knowledge of water metering, data management and water demand management frameworks and policies.
Demonstrated ability using effective negotiation skills when dealing with external providers and resources.
Demonstrated ability to manage and collaborate with a small multidisciplinary team to achieve assigned goals.
Demonstrated ability to take the initiative in sourcing information and making decisions required to successfully manage projects and progress assigned tasks.
