Job Description:

The Business Analyst will define business requirements and help determine solutions, support decision making, future planning and business improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, collaborate and contribute to the design and delivery of new products and capabilities
• Facilitate strong working relationships with key stakeholders
• Develop and document business requirements and scope process/systems change proposals
• Oversee and prepare work flow and requirements for the Telephony and Networking solutions including new workstreams or enhancements to existing thorough analysis and documentation of business processes.
• Compile user stories
• Participate in the preparation of test plans and support documentation for systems and tools and lead planning workshops and project teams to capture user requirements and data information specifications.
• Contribute to planning processes to ensure timeframes for development, implementation and support take account of user needs and constraints.
• Optimise delivery by identifying and recommending appropriate solutions to complex problems
• Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings as required; provide management with status of projects and related issues as required.

Requirements

• Technical Business Analyst will support development and delivery of projects: PC as a Service, Internet & Telephony as a Service and Cloud Services.
• Will also be responsible for decisions relating to the day-to-day management of own priorities, workload and stakeholder requirements.
• Will be responsible to make decisions in the context of business requirements, legislation, strategy and industry standards.
• Will work closely and with guidance from the Project Manager or Project Owner in relation to highly sensitive or complex issues, or when risks have been identified.

Skills and experience

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience
• Extensive experience (7 year+) working in complex ICT Infrastructure environments, implementing business process or system change and improvements
• Experience in developing a range of functional and technical system specifications for complex, integrated Infrastructure systems and solutions
• Experience in collaborating with and influencing stakeholders to manage expectations and reach agreement amongst the stakeholders
• Experience assisting and developing procurement requirements and go-to market documents
• Experience with large scale technical deployments of infrastructure and end-user compute
• Experience with end-user compute and Microsoft Azure
• Experience working with and developing telephony platforms
• Ability to understand and apply regulatory instruments based on sound knowledge of relevant legislation and the legislative framework, government policies and reforms, and current public sector trends
