Scent Method is the new home of DIY fragrance located in Western Sydney, Australia. We offer an extensive library of fragrance oils, candle, perfume and diffuser making supplies and soap and lotion mixes to kickstart your creative endeavours. With over 25+ years industry experience, we pride ourselves on our world class perfumers and unique collection of fragrances.

We use only the highest quality ingredients sourced both locally and around the world, to produce the finest Australian designed and made fragrances. Our strict quality control processes ensure our perfume is IFRA (International Fragrance Association) certified, meeting the highest quality safety standards worldwide. Qualifications & experience

● Bachelor Degree in a related field

● At least 1 years of relevant work experience

Tasks & responsibilities

Oversee all stages of the production process to ensure products are manufactured on time, meet quality standards, and comply with safety protocols.

Monitor raw materials and finished goods stock levels, optimizing inventory to meet demand while minimizing waste or overstock.

Ensure all production activities adhere to hygiene, safety, and quality regulations, especially regarding the handling of essential oils and other chemical substances.

Collaborate with product development teams to introduce new fragrances and manufacturing techniques aligned with market trends and customer expectations.

Train, manage, and motivate the production team to maintain a safe, productive, and quality-focused work environment.

Ensure all manufacturing equipment is maintained in good working order through regular preventative and corrective maintenance schedules.

Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high product quality.

Ensure that all products comply with applicable Australian and international regulations, including proper labelling, documentation, and safety standards.

Manage relationships with suppliers of raw materials and packaging, negotiating favorable terms while ensuring input quality and reliability.
