About the role

Eversafe Fire & Safety, a leading provider of fire safety solutions, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Door Technician to join our team in Morningside, Queensland. As a Fire Door Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of commercial and residential properties by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire doors. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

Conduct regular inspections of fire doors to identify any issues or defects

Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on fire doors to ensure they are functioning properly and in compliance with relevant fire safety standards

Replace or upgrade fire door components as needed, such as hinges, closers, and seals

Liaise with clients and provide recommendations on fire door upgrades or replacements

Document all inspection and maintenance activities, ensuring thorough record-keeping

Contribute to the development and implementation of fire door safety programs

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a fire door technician.

Strong technical knowledge of fire door components, installation, and maintenance

Familiarity with relevant fire safety regulations and standards.

Hold required Fire Industry QBCC Licence.

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to various job sites

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks

Experience with Simpro Mobile will be highly regarded
