Salary range $113,448 – $131,517 plus super

About the role:
To put it simply…You’ll use your technical infrastructure experience to help deliver Hydro Tasmania’s future energy vision, supporting the design, implementation, and operation of both cloud and on-premise systems that are critical to keeping our business running efficiently and securely.
As a Cloud Specialist, you will…
✓ Manage and maintain enterprise IT systems across public and private cloud environments.
✓ Contribute to infrastructure project delivery and ongoing operational support.
✓ Monitor systems, respond to incidents, and ensure performance and security compliance.
✓ Automate processes to increase operational efficiency.
✓ Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
✓ Help shape strategy and guide technical teams with your experience and leadership.

Who are you?
You’re a tech-savvy all-rounder with experience across both on-premise and cloud infrastructure. With relevant qualifications and over five years in enterprise IT, you bring proven skills in virtualisation, Azure/AWS, automation (PowerShell/Python), and system monitoring. You’re confident managing projects and daily operations, with a strong grasp of networking, security, and backup solutions. Your proactive approach, flexibility, and experience in IT service management make you well-equipped to support and evolve our critical infrastructure platforms.
