Location: Primarily Melbourne Metro Area; domestic and international travel required

About the Role
Chameleon Strategic is expanding its protection and surveillance capabilities and is seeking mission-ready professionals to join our team as Risk & Security Specialists. These full-time roles will operate within our Close Personal Protection (CPP) or Monitoring and Surveillance units, assigned based on your skill set, experience, and operational alignment.
Working in a 4-on / 4-off rotational shift model, our specialists support high-trust individuals and families, providing real-time protection, threat mitigation, and operational assurance across complex and occasionally international environments.

Key Responsibilities
Close Personal Protection

• Deliver elite personal protection services in dynamic or high-risk settings
• Conduct threat assessments and secure movement planning
• Manage protective logistics and support confidential travel operations
• Maintain 24/7 readiness and situational awareness
• Travel interstate and internationally (up to 4–6 weeks/year)

Monitoring & Surveillance

• Operate from secure locations using high-performance surveillance tools
• Monitor access control, respond to live events, and liaise with field operators
• Log and escalate incidents following strict communication protocols
• Contribute to protective intelligence and threat analysis

What We’re Looking For

• Background in special forces, policing, corrections, or equivalent trusted roles
• Excellent judgment, threat perception, and operational discipline
• Strong personal ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Current (or attainable) Victorian Security Licence (Armed and Bodyguard endorsements preferred)
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and national police clearance
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred but not essential)

Work Structure

• Full-time operational deployment (4 days on / 4 days off)
• 12-hour rotating shifts with flexibility across weekends and public holidays
