Nepean Communications is seeking an experienced and motivated Communications Installation Technician to join our professional team on a full-time basis, enjoying steady and ongoing employment.

Full Australian working rights and current residence are a requirement for this position.

Experience & qualifications:

Open cabling and security installer licences

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the industry

Strong background in Access Control systems

Experience with the installation and programming of cameras and closed-circuit systems

Nurse-call experience is advantageous but non-essential

Data Cabling Experience

Fault finding ability is highly regarded

Competent computer skills

Ability to communicate effectively with clients on site

Duties & responsibilities:

Install and configure CCTV, access control, and nurse call systems

Perform routine and emergency maintenance

Diagnose and repair system faults

Test systems to ensure functionality and compliance

Provide user training and support

Maintain clear installation and service records

Follow all safety regulations and company policies
