About the role
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Executive Assistant to support the Director, People and Culture. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to provide high-level executive support, including complex diary management, coordination of meetings, and organisation of travel and accommodation. You will manage internal and external communications and briefings, often preparing responses independently and handling confidential and sensitive enquiries with discretion.
The ideal candidate is a confident, adaptable professional with exceptional communication skills, capable of thriving in high-pressure environments. A strategic thinker, you consistently deliver high-quality outcomes with efficiency and professionalism.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Out of hours work may be required.
- Intrastate and interstate travel with overnight absences may be required.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
