About the role

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Precious Health Radiology in Footscray, VIC on a part-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our busy medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments

Handling patient inquiries and booking requests, both in person and over the phone

Maintaining accurate patient records and confidential information

Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing inventory

Ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times

Providing support to the clinical team as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients from diverse backgrounds

Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

Proficient in using medical practice management software and Microsoft Office suite

A warm, friendly, and professional demeanour with a genuine commitment to providing exceptional patient care

A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset

Compassion, empathy, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Experience in Radiology, particularly versed in Medicare billing is advantageous
