The team at Family Foods are currently looking for Machine Operators to join us at our manufacturing site in Canning Vale. The overall purpose of this position is to work within a production team in a food manufacturing environment.

Family Foods are one of the largest Independent bakeries in Western Australia. Situated over 2 sites (Maddington and Canning Vale), we operate 2 fully automated plant bakeries and prides ourselves on manufacturing high quality flour based goods.

We have positions available in morning and afternoon with midweek and weekend rosters available. Great rates with penalties (shift allowances and weekend overtime rates applicable).

Reporting into the Production Supervisor, you will work as part of the packing team to ensure that our bread products are produced in a safe, timely and cost effective manner that meets quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operating of bread manufacturing equipment
• Ensuring all HACCP measures are being maintained during shift
• Adjustments in product specification and machine operations to develop a consistent product
• Adhering to food safety procedures and company policies
• Ensuring machines run in an efficient and uninterrupted manner
• Maintaining production waste within acceptable amounts
• Meeting deadlines in a busy work environment
• Keeping timely and accurate records of work activity
