Our client is a leading international contractor specialising in civil works and groundscaping solutions. Due to continued growth and strong project demand, they are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator / Yard Hand to join their team in Maddington.

This is a long-term opportunity within a reputable company offering stability and a supportive work environment.

Details of the Role:

• Operate forklifts, skid steers, and front-end loaders safely and efficiently to support day-to-day yard and site operations
• Maintain a clean, well-organised yard and depot area, ensuring a safe and functional work environment
• Assist with receiving and unloading incoming stock, checking deliveries against orders and storing materials appropriately
• Prepare and pack outgoing orders for delivery, working closely with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch
• Monitor stock levels and support with inventory control, including assisting with ordering parts and materials to maintain consistent supply
• Provide basic support to the workshop team with routine maintenance and servicing of onsite machinery and equipment
• Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team

What are the Requirements?

• HR Drivers Licence and reliable transport (essential)
• Forklift licence and previous operating experience (essential)
• Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test (essential)
• Full working rights & availability for required hours (essential)
• Skid steer and front-end loader ticket (advantageous)
• Chain of Responsibility certificate (advantageous)
