ProQuest Recruitment are searching for a Machine Operator for permanent ongoing consistent work with great hours in a fast-paced workplace environment.

Located in Canning Vale, our client manufactures products derived from recyclable goods which requires operators to manage the machines that process these goods. It is a high output facility where you will be responsible for ensuring your machine (or your part of the machine) is prepared and able to function at its most efficient in order to achieve targeted outputs.

Role Responsibilities:

• Located at a machine (or multiple) within the Canning Vale warehouse, you will be responsible for ensuring that part of the machine is functional and working in the best order possible.
• You will be expected to build an understanding and intimate knowledge of how the machine works, what to look for, what to press, when to press it and what not to press. Full training is provided.
• Working in conjunction with other machine operators - able to clearly and efficiently communicate to your co-workers to ensure smooth machine operation.
• Maintaining strong attention to detail to ensure you and others are safe, and the machine is producing in a safe manner.
• Fast paced, physical role that requires exceptional work ethics - though you are rewarded for your efforts.
• Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for OHS Safe Working Practices, Machine Productivity and Quality Product Assurance.

Your Roster will be as follows:

• Monday - Thursday - 6am - 2:30pm
• Friday - 6am - 12.30pm

Minimum Employment Requirements:

• Motivated, punctual, great attitude, capable of working in noisy environments, able to clearly communicate and listen.
• We want people that want permanent full time work. The hours are available and as your skills increase more may become available.
• Able to work in a noisy and sometimes hot environment, able to communicate clearly and must be motivated.
• Capable of being on your feet all day and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transport
• Able to handle repetitive work.
• Criminal history check and pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing.)
• Previous machine/production line experience (preferred but not essential.)
• Forklift licence (not essential.)
