Help drive change across NT Government agencies by delivering strategic workforce and service improvement projects and enhancing workforce agility and efficiency.

The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) provides essential corporate functions to the Northern Territory Government (NTG), efficiently and effectively enabling agencies to focus on their core business, Workforce Development is one of the key enterprise services provided by DCDD.

Positioned within Workforce Development, the Workforce Projects team leads strategic workforce initiatives and projects supporting three Workforce Services Divisions: Workforce Development, Workforce Operations and Partnerships, and Workforce Management.

As Assistant Director, your primary objective is to deliver strategic workforce and service improvement projects and achieve practical outcomes that enhance workforce agility and efficiency. Your key duties involve leading, developing, implementing an evaluating workforce services programs, frameworks or initiatives that deliver improvements across the NT Public Sector. In collaboration with client agencies, external stakeholders and contractors, you will co-design solutions that are fit-for-purpose and meet strategic workforce priorities and outcomes.

Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience leading and managing complex projects within the areas of Human Resource Management or Business Management and a proven ability to investigate, manage and report on project progress and outcomes is essential. In addition, highly developed interpersonal, conceptual and analytical skills, a client-centric approach and polished facilitation and presentation skills will contribute to your ability to thrive in this role.
