About the team:
Within the NT Department of Education and Training, Student Wellbeing and Inclusion Programs and Services (SWIPS) provides differentiated support services to reform inclusion and improve engagement and access to learning for children, students and communities. SWIPS provides advice, guidance and support to clients and stakeholders to ensure all children and students are welcomed into an inclusive learning environment and are able to engage effectively with education and learn to their full potential.
You will support a multidisciplinary NT wide team creating positive change and strengthening the link between wellbeing, inclusion and engagement to support our kids.
About the role:
The Assistant Director Stakeholder Strategy fosters positive partnerships that enable SWIPS program and service delivery. The Assistant Director develops stakeholder strategy, provides guidance about stakeholder relationship management, and oversees strategic communications with SWIPS clients and stakeholders. The Assistant Director will cultivate and maintain strong relationships and collaborative partnerships with local, interjurisdictional and national stakeholders regarding inclusion and wellbeing policy and frameworks.
To be successful you will need highly developed team and leadership skills, communication, collaboration and influencing expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and diverse stakeholder interests.
