About the Role

We’re seeking a Graduate Auditor to join our Ballarat office in a permanent, full-time role. You will work closely with a diverse client base, spanning a wide range of industries, offering genuine variety in your day-to-day work.

You’ll be responsible for:

Assisting in performing audits for a range of business clients across different industries

Conducting fieldwork including examination of financial records, systems, and supporting documents

Assisting in preparing audit working papers and documentation in line with professional standards

Reconciling financial data and verifying accuracy of ledger balances and journal entries

Supporting senior auditors in performing risk assessments and testing internal controls

Communicating with clients to request information and clarify documentation

This is an ideal role for someone who is looking for their first employment opportunity following the completion of their tertiary education, or someone with one to two years of public accounting experience.

About You

This opportunity is ideal for someone who:

Has completed, or is close to completing, a tertiary degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce

Is eligible to commence or is currently undertaking CPA or CA studies

Achieved sound academic results and has a solid understanding of accounting principles

Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Has developed analytical and problem-solving skills

Demonstrates effective communication skills, both written and verbal
