We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary (2 years minimum) to join our boutique firm on a permanent full-time basis (Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 5pm).

The Role

Reception duties and client communications – telephone messages, screening client calls and assisting with requests

Preparing and editing correspondence and other legal documents

Extensive diary management - booking client conferences/prison visits/telephone and video-links

Legal Aid applications and claims

File management - opening files and general filing

Other office duties

Your Skills

Experience with Leap Legal Software and Legal Aid Qld is desirable

Excellent communication skills with a mature outlook

The ability to professionally communicate with people from all walks of life

Highly organised with a proactive approach – willing to take ownership over role

An advanced working knowledge of Word and Excel is essential

Friendly and helpful attitude
