About the role

As the HR Manager at Active Managed Logistics Services, you will play a crucial role in shaping the organisation's people strategies and ensuring an exceptional employee experience. This full-time position is based at our Moorabbin Airport office in Victoria, where you will be responsible for leading all facets of human resources to support the company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

Spearhead the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and initiatives that align with the company's values and objectives

Oversee the recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes to attract, engage and retain top talent

Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management and disciplinary matters

Design and deliver learning and development programs to upskill and empower our diverse workforce

Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations

Partner with business leaders to understand their people-related needs and provide strategic HR advice

Champion a positive, inclusive and high-performing company culture

What we're looking for

Experience (4+ years) in a senior HR management role, ideally within a fast-paced, complex organisation

In-depth knowledge of Australian employment legislation and best practices in human resources

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement effective HR solutions

Proven track record in developing and executing innovative HR strategies that drive business growth

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field
