Bakers Delight, Brentford Square, is seeking a motivated, hardworking and dynamic senior sales assistant to help lead our delightful team on a full time/part time basis.

Bakers Delight Australia's leading bakery retail franchise brand, operating over 700 bakeries.

The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively.

Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in retail sales.

Job responsibilities:

Implement retail strategies to raise store traffic and increase sales;

Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff;

Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service;

Complete bakery administrative duties and ensure compliance with policies and procedures;

Maintain outstanding bakery compliance and visual merchandising standards;

Report on customer trends and needs, and provide feedback to instigate change to meet current demands;

Propose innovative ideas to increase sales and customer numbers;

Provide constructive feedback to the sales teams on their performance and training needs;

Prepare and manage rostering of sales rostering;

Manage with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc.);

Lead and develop a team of highly performing staff;

Additional duties as required.

You will have:

Previous experience and proven success in retail sales

A positive can-do attitude with a high level of energy

Powerful leading skills in managing staff and tasks

Possess strong customer service, upselling and strategic sales skills

Strong organisational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills

Our successful candidate will be an effective team leader responsible for managing team members to achieve results and meet targeted budgets.

The role offers flexible hours which will include a weekend day, mornings and evenings.
