The Company:

Kolong Australasia is a family-owned business that is based in Annandale over 20years and are highly established custom-home building / renovation company. We are looking to hire an experienced Foreman to join and lead a small and vibrant team.

Areas Covered would be the Inner West and Sydney Metro. The ideal candidate will have their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Manage a work site concurrently.
• Allocate materials and trades to job sites.
• Effectively communicate with staff, clients, trades, and management in a professional manner.
• Construction / renovation is carried out safely and complies with company processes and procedures.
• Supervising subcontractors on site
• Inspecting completed projects to ensure a high standard of quality
• Reporting to management regarding onsite activity
• Identifying and resolving problems throughout the construction process.

Role Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience within the residential construction industry
• Qualified licensed carpenter is a must
• NSW Drivers License
• Own Vehicle
• Demonstrated experience within the construction sector with excellent building knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to build a strong rapport with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Proven track record of problem-solving
• Team player
• Commitment to WHS principles and practices
