ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for Customer Service Officers to support various racing days at the Clarence River Jockey Club (Grafton). This is a customer-facing role from 16-17 July 2025. This is NOT a food and beverage assignment.

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking and processing bets, operating wagering terminals, overseeing EBT machines, and handling cash transactions. This is NOT a food and beverage assignment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist customers using 'standalone' EBT machines
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
• Promote a safe and inclusive environment for customers and colleagues

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• Must be over the age of 18
• Previous experience in customer service or a similar role (desirable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in operating wagering terminals and EBT machines is an asset (desirable)
• Knowledge of responsible gambling practices is (preferred)
• Be available to work at both days: 16th and 17th July 2025
