About the opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Casual Incident Response Officer to join our team. This primary reason for this role is to cover annual leave and sick leave for our permanent team members guaranteeing a minimum of 32 weeks a year plus additional shifts as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to incidents on the toll road, ensuring the safety of motorists, and minimizing traffic disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to incidents, accidents, and emergencies on toll roads.

Assess situations and take appropriate actions to ensure safety and restore normal traffic flow.

Coordinate with emergency services, tow trucks, and other relevant parties if required.

Provide first aid and basic medical assistance if required.

Communicate effectively with the control center and other team members.

Document incidents accurately and maintain detailed reports.

Conduct regular patrols to monitor road conditions and identify potential hazards.

Support the civil maintenance crew as required

Experience and Certifications required:

Previous experience in incident response, emergency services, or a related field would be beneficial

Strong knowledge of traffic management and safety protocols.

MR/HR license is required with TMI/TMA highly desirable

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

First aid/CPR certification or willing to obtain.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
