The Role
As the Senior Maintenance Technician in the company you will combine your excellent hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge with supporting the Maintenance Manager and driving performance within the maintenance team. Main duties will include:

• Leading mechanical and electrical maintenance projects (preventative and breakdown) ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards
• Fault finding on PLC and SCADA systems
• Optimising equipment performance to exceed targets
• Supervisor and induct external maintenance contractors
• Proactively identify and correct any unsafe conditions whilst driving safety in the team

The Requirements

• Extensive high-speed manufacturing experience ideally from food or beverage industry
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge including pneumatics, hydraulics, SCADA and PLC
• Previous experience leading teams and maintenance projects (leading hand experience level is acceptable)
• Exceptional troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical systems
• Strong planning and ‘maintenance controls’ knowledge
