Maintenance Technician - Rotating Shift | Brand-New Facility | FMCG

A leading manufacturer in the FMCG space is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Fitter or Electrician) to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with full training provided on all machines and systems by a hands-on Maintenance Manager.

• Work on a rotating 12-hour shift roster in a clean, modern environment
• 84 hours per fortnight - with two full weekends off per month

Roster Pattern:

• 2 days on - 2 days off - 3 days on - 2 days off - 2 days on - 3 days off
• Rotating shifts: 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am
• (Note: A 24/5 roster is also being trialled - details to follow)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
• Rapid fault finding and troubleshooting of process and packaging equipment
• Maintain spare parts inventory and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist production to optimise equipment efficiency
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective long-term solutions

About You:

• Trade-qualified Fitter or Electrician
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or FMCG is essential
• Familiar with plastic injection moulding, blow moulding, or high-speed packaging lines
• Strong understanding of GMP and SOPs
• Proactive approach to safety, quality, and problem-solving
