Now we're looking for a passionate and determined Business Development Manager to join our growing team. Someone who’ll proactively drive growth, but who’s also interested in making a real difference for their customers.
What you’ll actually be doing (and why it matters)
You won’t just be “quoting rates and chasing leads” here. You’ll be:
Leading proactive outreach to find, connect, and engage with prospective customers, creating value-based conversations (not just another sales pitch).
Building relationships that last by understanding deeply what your customers actually need, not just what they say they want.
Owning your sales pipeline from first contact through to closing, with ongoing collaboration across operations and customer support teams to ensure we're always keeping our promises.
Tracking your success through clear metrics, using CRM tools effectively, and collaborating with your colleagues to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Contributing to our growth strategy through market research, competitor analysis, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Basically, you’ll be more than just a BDM, you’ll be a trusted advisor, growth champion, and supply-chain problem solver all in one.
What your first month might look like here:
Kicked off discovery calls with prospective clients, understanding their supply chain pain points and exploring potential solutions beyond just price.
Presented tailored Navia solutions to prospects, highlighting the impact on their supply chains' efficiency and clarity.
Collaborated with operations to craft bespoke proposals that clearly demonstrate value and address the customer's real needs.
Participated in internal strategy sessions, helping shape our offering and customer approach.
Celebrated landing a significant new client because of the value and trust you built, not because you were the cheapest on a spreadsheet.
You’re our type of person if…
You’re not just a salesperson; you're genuinely curious about your clients' businesses and want to add tangible value. You’re driven by results, yes but you’re also driven by meaningful, collaborative relationships.
We think you'll be successful here if:
You have 3-5 years' experience in freight forwarding, supply chain, or logistics sales and have demonstrated you can close high-value key accounts.
You're excellent at communicating, not just speaking and writing, but genuinely listening to your customers.
You’re a team player. Success never happens in a silo.
You’re self-driven, proactive, and comfortable navigating your way through conversations at every level, from logistics managers to senior executives.
You're keen on building your sales strategy around real value, not just transactional selling.
Bonus points if you love a good dashboard, CRM insights, and KPI tracking as much as we do.
