About the role

Underground Installation's Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and adaptable Civil Construction Pit & Pipe installer, cable hauler, and Hydro Vac operator to join our dynamic team based in Lonsdale, South Australia. This is a full time casual position with future full time permanent opportunities, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within the civil construction industry.

What you'll be doing

Install pits and pipes for underground infrastructure, such as telecommunications, electricity, and water networks

Operate Hydro Vac equipment to safely and efficiently expose underground utilities

Assist with the hauling and installation of cables, and other underground cabling

Work collaboratively with the broader construction team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard

Maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety, following all relevant policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Previous experience in civil construction, particularly in the installation of pits, pipes, and underground cabling

Demonstrated competency in operating Hydro Vac equipment and other construction machinery

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A commitment to workplace health and safety, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and best practices

A valid HR or MR Truck license and the ability to travel to project sites as required
