Your new role

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced Pipe Layer to join a respected civil contractor known for delivering high-quality subdivision and infrastructure works. Working closely with a skilled team of operators, supervisors, and labourers, the successful candidate will play a critical role in the installation of stormwater, sewer, and water infrastructure, with a primary focus on new subdivision developments. The role involves interpreting plans, ensuring levels and alignments are met, and working safely around plant and machinery. As a key contributor to the successful delivery of large-scale drainage projects, this position supports the company's reputation for excellence, reliability, and innovation in the civil space. Candidates must bring a strong understanding of drainage and pipe-laying best practices, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a pipe layer within civil construction environments
• Strong background in civil works including drainage and trenching
• Comfortable working 50 hour weeks consistently
• Subdivision project experience with knowledge of site setups and sequencing
• Competent in installing stormwater, sewer, and water infrastructure
• Machine tickets such as excavator or roller are highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of site safety and working around plant
• Physically fit with a willingness to perform manual labour tasks
