We are a leading provider of underground telecommunications infrastructure, delivering high-quality civil works across Australia. As our operations grow, we're seeking a skilled Civil Operator with strong pit and pipe experience to join our team and contribute to major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform civil works including trenching, pit and pipe installation, and reinstatement.
• Operate machinery such as excavators and skid steers safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret telecommunications construction plans.
• Lead and coordinate a small team on-site.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders professionally via phone and email.
• Assist with quoting, plan mark-ups, and raising variations.
• Travel to project sites as required.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working directly on the Telstra Network.
• Proven experience in underground telecommunications civil works (excluding wireless/mobile).
• Telecommunications Pit and Pipe accreditation.
• ACM WPA certified and Supervisor accreditation.
• HR Truck License (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to pass DCSI Working with Children and Elderly assessment and Defense Screening.
• Willingness to work away when required.

Highly Regarded

• Excavator and Skid Steer tickets.
• Experience managing staff and delegating tasks.
• Familiarity with quoting and variation processes.
