The Opportunity

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a client-focused, experienced insurance broker to lead a small team and deliver the exceptional standards of advice, professionalism and customer service that are the cornerstone of our business.

Based in our modern offices in the Northern Suburbs, your main focus will be supporting the growth and retention of our existing portfolio, whilst assisting to secure new business opportunities. You will also play a key role in the leadership and development of our small brokerage team, as a senior employee.

As the Senior Insurance and Risk Advisor, your strengths will include a demonstrable drive to delivering exceptional customer service, outstanding communication and presentation skills, a strategic approach and a keen eye for detail. You will be an exceptional and knowledgeable broker, and employ a collaborate approach to leading and working with our team.

Key responsibilities include:

· Driving the renewal lifecycle of a portfolio of commercial and retail clients. This includes leading renewal negotiations, re-quotes and placements with the market, in a professional and timely manner to secure positive outcomes for our clients.

· Day to day portfolio management including additions, deletions, amendments and endorsements as required.

· Supporting the acquisition of new client opportunities, together with securing new leads that are generated externally or within the business.

· Identifying other revenue enhancement opportunities within the existing portfolio.

· Ensuring attention to detail is always given, all information is accurate and correct, with all tasks being undertaken in a timely and efficient manner.

· Advising and supporting our team to ensure timely and accurate completion of client-driven tasks and activities.

Essential Requirements:

· Solid general insurance experience (5 years plus) within the SME & Commercial Sectors

· Tier 1 Broking (as a minimum) or Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking)

· Previous experience in utilising Steadfast Client Trading Platform, Sunrise and MicroSoft Office 365.
