As we continue to grow, we are now seeking an experienced Risk Insurance Adviser / Financial Planner to join our team and take over an existing book of loyal clients requiring regular insurance reviews and advice.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Risk Insurance Adviser / Financial Planner with a strong background in personal risk insurance to service and grow a existing client base. This is an opportunity to step into an established client base and work closely with referral partners to drive further engagement.
Your core focus will be reviewing, maintaining, and optimizing clients’ personal insurance portfolios (Life, TPD, Trauma, IP), ensuring ongoing suitability and value.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored risk advice and insurance strategies that align with clients’ broader financial goals.
Review and assess existing personal insurance policies and provide recommendations as needed.
Conduct regular reviews and client meetings to ensure insurance needs remain appropriate over time.
Maintain strong ongoing client relationships through regular touchpoints, service, and care.
Identify opportunities to deepen client engagement across broader advice areas (e.g., super, retirement, estate planning).
Ensure compliance with all legislative and licensee requirements.
Stay current with industry updates, product knowledge, and education requirements.
What you bring:
Relevant tertiary qualifications and FASEA-approved education standards.
Proven experience in providing personal risk advice and managing client relationships.
Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, and industry trends.
Excellent communication skills and a client-centric approach.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet client service benchmarks.
High ethical standards and a strong compliance mindset.
Omnilife experience preferred but not essential.
