About the role

This is a full-time Arborist (level 3 at a minimum) , tree climber position based in Rochedale, QLD. As an Arborist, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient removal and maintenance of trees, as well as stump grinding for our clients in the local area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded tree services company.

What you'll be doing

Perform safe and effective tree removal, trimming, and maintenance using industry-standard equipment and techniques

Operate stump grinders to remove tree stumps from clients' properties

Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice

Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, including the proper storage and care of tools and equipment

Support the wider team as needed to ensure efficient and timely service delivery

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Arboriculture or a related field

Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Arborist, preferably in a commercial or residential setting

Demonstrated proficiency in safe tree climbing, pruning, and removal techniques

Experience operating chipper,loader and stump grinders and other specialised tree care equipment

Strong communication and customer service skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
