Positions & Locations:

Tree Climbers - Toowong and Zillmere

Pruning Officers - Morningside

Role Overview:

As a Ground-Based Pruning Officer, you will primarily carry out tree maintenance tasks on the ground, such as pruning, operating chainsaws, and managing chipper machines. Tree Climbers perform all ground-based duties with the added responsibility of safely climbing trees and operating elevated work platforms (EWPs). This role requires proven climbing ability and the relevant certifications to work safely at height.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in arboriculture or related fields is preferred

Medium Rigid (MR) license for ground-based roles

Chainsaw and chipper tickets (training and VOC assessments provided onsite)

Level 2 Basic Tree Felling Certificate for ground-based roles

High Risk Work License for elevated work platform operation for climbers

A strong commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Work Hours & Environment:

Start your day early with a 6:30am depot meet-up and be onsite by 7am

Travel in close-knit teams of three (including a supervisor) from depot to job sites

Occasional overtime available during nights and weekends, but always optional
