About the role

Coastal Arborist Services is seeking experienced Tree Workers and qualified Arborist (certificate III) to join our team in the Whitsundays, Queensland. These full-time positions will involve working away occasionally on the nearby Islands and surrounding towns.

Additionally we are also looking for a Truck driver Ground Tec position which would suit ex climber that wants to stay on the ground or do limited climbing as well or a keen young person wanting to become an Arborist.

We have a Varity to make our job easier which are onsite 95% of the jobs. These include 2210 Spider lift, Muti one mini loader, 4T excavator.

What you'll be doing

All aspects of tree work including ground work

Safely carrying out tree pruning, trimming, and removal as required

Maintenance and minor repairs on all machinery

Inspecting and assessing trees to identify potential hazards or health issues

Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Certificate III in Arboriculture or equivalent qualification

Demonstrated experience as an Arborist, ideally 2+ years

Experienced Groundy/truck driver/machine operator

Keen person wanting to become ground staff or apprentice climber/arborist all training provided (salary negotiable and above award)

Strong practical knowledge of tree species, growth habits, and care requirements

Proficient in the use of arborist equipment and machinery

Excellent communication and customer service skills

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation

Valid Truck licence

EWP ticket, mini loader and or excavator tickets but not essential
