Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects (roads, bridges, utilities, etc.).

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates.

Conduct site visits to assess project scope and requirements.

Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.

Assist in the preparation of project proposals and contracts.

Maintain and update cost databases and historical cost data.

Qualifications:

Experience in civil construction estimating.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and labor costs.

Proficiency in estimating software.

experience in the process of tendering projects from start to finish.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
