Our client is a leading construction company delivering high-quality commercial and industrial builds across Australia. They are currently seeking a Foreman to lead delivery on large-scale industrial projects up to $20m each. As their project pipeline continues to grow, they are looking for a skilled and driven Foreman to take charge of daily site supervision and ensure smooth on-the-ground delivery of their industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage on site operations and oversee all aspects of daily site activities on industrial projects, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance are maintained to the highest standard.
• Plan, coordinate and develop and manage short- and mid-range construction programs, coordinating trades, plant, access, materials handling, and site logistics to meet project milestones.
• Review drawings and specifications for buildability, identify risks or inefficiencies, raise RFIs, and propose practical construction solutions without compromising design intent.
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings, ensure adequate resource allocation, and monitor productivity to align with project targets and reduce delays or rework.
• Enforce QA, conduct pre-pour inspections, track material use and wastage and ensure all works meet design specifications and client expectations.
• Assist with delay tracking, and cost control, while ensuring contractual obligations and project risks are clearly communicated and managed.

Your experience and knowledge background:

• Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship expeince in light or heavy industrial projects.
• Proven experience in site management for industrial or commercial projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Solid understanding of subcontractor coordination, and logistics planning
• In-depth knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and safety systems
• Ability to lead a team and maintain site harmony under pressure
• Proficient in construction scheduling software scuh as Hammertech or Procore as well as Microsoft Office tools
