Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, Seek the experience of a Infrastructure Engineer for a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, document, and resolve legacy issues and inefficiencies in systems, configurations, and infrastructure.
• Assist in standardising and optimizing device configurations, software deployments, and network setups.
• Collaborate with the client’s technical teams to ensure post-project technical clean-up is completed effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of changes and improvements made to systems.
• Work closely with the client’s senior technicians to find solutions to complex issues following project transition.

Experience:

• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and common enterprise applications.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals).
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience working on technical debt or post-project remediation.
