We are urgently recruiting a number of positions for Software Developers who have an active NV2 or TSPV Security Clearance in Canberra.

In this role you will join a large Defence project centred around complex integration. Ideally, you will have strong experience with Java programming and API's and be looking for a longterm contract in Canberra.

Please note that you MUST have NV2 clearance or higher to be considered for this position.

This is a 12 month project with high liklihood of extension, paying up to $160ph inclusive of super (dependant upon your experience and clearance)

Responsibilities:

Design the components (API/connectors/interfaces to the data store) and related characteristics (including security).

Develop associated detailed models and properties to meet functional and non-functional requirements.

About you:

You are a Software Developer with mid-senior level experience

Active NV2 Security Clearance (or higher)

Experience in Java, Unix Programming Languages

Familiarity with enterprise search integration

Experience working in an Agile environment

Experience in designing, deploying, configuring and maintaining Apache NiFi will be strongly preferred

Degree in Software Engineering/Software and system design is preferred

Prior experience with Defence is highly preferred
