Our busy 24/7 tyre workshop supports truck fleets, industrial machinery, 4x4s, and passenger vehicles with expert tyre services, including on-site fitting and wheel alignments. About the Role

We’re offering an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Workshop Foreman to lead our team in Toowoomba. In this key role, you will coordinate a dedicated crew of tyre fitters, manage scheduling and workflow, and maintain our renowned service quality on every shift. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and be integral to the success of our operations – including supporting our 24/7 call-out team.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Supervision: Lead, supervise and coordinate the workshop team (technicians and apprentices).
- Scheduling & Workflow Management: Allocate jobs and manage the work schedule.
- Technical Guidance & Training: Mentor and train staff, particularly apprentices.
- Quality Control & Safety Compliance: Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Operational Coordination: Manage work orders, liaise with sales and service staff, support 24/7 operations.

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Workshop Foreman or senior technician.
- Strong mechanical background (Light or Heavy Vehicle preferred).
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong safety focus and compliance knowledge.
- Valid manual driver’s licence (forklift ticket advantageous).
