Position Description

Paragon Food Manufacturing Resources Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Operations Supervisor to oversee daily industrial cleaning, hygiene, and shutdown maintenance activities for food manufacturing facilities across Australia. This role is classified under ANZSCO Code 149999 – Hospitality, Retail and Service Managers nec, reflecting its strong emphasis on service delivery coordination, staff supervision, and compliance oversight.

The Operations Supervisor will lead field teams, prepare essential HSEQ documentation, and ensure service excellence across complex, high-risk environments such as confined spaces and chemical handling zones. This position reports directly to the Operations Director and is critical to the ongoing success of our national contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate industrial cleaning and maintenance teams on client sites

Prepare SWMS, risk assessments, and other job safety documentation in compliance with HSEQ standards

Ensure proper execution of confined space entry, working at heights, and chemical cleaning procedures

Maintain safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance across all job sites

Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery

Report weekly on operational performance, labour usage, and equipment condition

Skills and Experience Required

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in industrial services or food manufacturing

Strong knowledge of risk management, job safety documentation, and workplace health & safety standards

Excellent team leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Previous experience managing contractors and frontline workers

Confined Space, Working at Heights, or Chemical Safety certification (preferred)

Willingness to travel extensively and work interstate for extended periods
