Position Summary
Reporting to the COO, you will lead a team of Centre Managers to create a high-performance culture of excellence in quality care, development and education of children whilst achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and support to early education service team members across the region, including centre managers and educators
With the COO, support high quality, sustainable early childhood operations in each of the canopy Early Education centres
Ensure all canopy Early Education centres in the region comply with relevant government requirements and standards including National Law and Regulation
In collaboration with Centre Managers and centre teams strive for Exceeding Rating for Quality Standards across all canopy Early Education centres in the region
Support canopy Early Education centres within the region to maintain high enrolments through community connection, high quality education and care delivery and localised marketing activities
Ensure all canopy Early Education centres within the region operate to approved budgets
Contribute to the review and update of canopy Early Education policies
Actively guide continuous improvement in centres and across the region to maximise outcomes
Role model a high standard of professionalism always
What we are looking for:
Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent).
Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a multi-site/area manager operational leadership role within the Early Childhood Education sector supported by business management qualifications (desirable).
Strong understanding of and experience implementing the National Quality Framework and Early Years Frameworks.
Experienced in supporting a positive and inclusive team environment with a confident leading and mentoring approach.
Demonstrated ability to analyse and improve organisational and compliance process.
Detailed knowledge of early education and CCMS software platforms and ability to quickly establish working capabilities of these.
Demonstrated competency of early learning administration including report writing, financial and budget management.
Possess great communication and interpersonal skills as well as effective problem-solving abilities with an eye for detail.
Current Blue Card, Working with Children Check, Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates (or willingness to obtain) and open Driver's Licence.
