This part or full time role provides on-site IT support to our clients located in Newcastle, central coast and surrounding areas.

Some travel within Greater Sydney will be required for training and other company events.

About the Role:

We are looking for a tech savvy candidate to work on-site with our customers in educational environments. You will support teachers, students and staff with their day-to-day IT needs as well as support and maintain the school’s broader technology infrastructure.

We are willing to accept entry-level applicants. Training is provided, and there are significant learning opportunities for those who are keen to learn and grow.

The role would require you to have a NSW drivers license and access to a car and have or be willing to obtain a NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check.

Key duties will include:

Completing regularly scheduled maintenance tasks

Managing and actioning IT support requests logged through a ticketing system

Liaising with the schools regarding IT support requests and projects.

Acting as first point of contact for staff and student IT enquiries

Maintaining on site IT systems and documentation

General troubleshooting and other tasks as delegated

About You:

Passionate about technology and keen to kickstart a career in IT - whether currently studying, recently graduated, looking for an entry level role or with previous IT experience

Has a basic understanding of IT, or ability to learn quickly and demonstrate skills

Enjoys problem solving and working towards a resolution

Highly organised and able to effectively prioritise tasks

Enjoys engaging with customers and providing excellent service

Keen to build lasting relationships with key staff members at the school

Great communication skills, both written and verbally
