We are proud to be partnering a successful Family Investment Office with this critical hire in one of their portfolio companies. This is a genuine opportunity for an aspirational finance leader to deliver control, business process improvement initiatives, transformation and commercial partnering activities within a growth orientated enterprise and carve a pathway to Chief Financial Officer.

Our client is a reseller of capital equipment to the mining, infrastructure, construction and land management sectors. They've developed a reputation of excellence and reliability through their aftermarket support, service and maintenance solutions presenting a wealth of business expansion possibilities across existing and new revenue streams.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Leadership Team to develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, this role will ensure the company’s financial health, sustainability and compliance while driving operational efficiency and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

You will lead the finance team, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and regulatory compliance. They will provide strategic financial insights to the executive leadership team and board, enabling informed decision-making that aligns with the company’s long-term objectives.

Additionally, the role will also have responsibility for the company’s IT function, including strategy development and the identification and execution of system and process efficiencies.

This position demands a hands-on leader with strong financial acumen, business expertise and the ability to partner with departmental managers to optimise financial performance while fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

You will be CPA/CA qualified with prior management experience within the capital equipment/ asset service and maintenance sector, which could include automotive, heavy machinery, large medical equipment and technology solutions space that require a service and maintenance as part of their aftermarket support services.
