About the Role

Working closely with the Head of Finance, you’ll manage end-to-end accounts payable responsibilities across our Australian and New Zealand operations. You’ll have the opportunity to work on both local and international transactions, bank reconciliations, and monthly reporting, with exposure to broader finance functions over time.

Key Responsibilities

Code, process, and manage all supplier invoices and credits

Reviewing and approving all accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures

Resolving any vendor inquiries or issues in a timely and professional manner

Process payments across NAB and HSBC platforms for both AU & NZ

Monitor and manage bank balances and transfers

Perform daily bank reconciliations

Manage foreign currency purchases for international supplier payments

Match invoices to purchase orders and liaise with overseas vendors

Maintain supplier records in Oracle and banking platforms

Process staff expense claims and payroll journals

Complete month-end tasks including accruals, prepayments, tax reports, bank revaluations, and balance sheet reconciliations

Prepare AP trial balance, invoice aging reports, and monthly cash flow reports

Support payroll-related reporting and employee leave monitoring

Contribute to continuous improvement and internal controls

About You

Proven experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role

Strong understanding of end-to-end AP functions and month-end close

Excellent attention to detail and time management

Confident communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Comfortable working with foreign currency and international transactions

Experience with Oracle (or similar ERP system) is desirable

Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel skills

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
