Service Manager

Oversee operations in the Service Centre to ensure compliance with quality standards

Oversee the inspection of caravans, motorhomes to identify faulty components and facilitate process for repairs

Arranging customer bookings and job quotations including insurance work

Supervise the activities of service technicians to ensure efficient job performance and timely repairs and service

Conduct price negotiations with clients to reach a favourable bargain for both management and client

Maintain accurate record of all accounts and relevant financial information

Monitor supply of parts for warranty work and able to source locally to ensure availability of required parts

Ensure staff comply with laws and regulations

Listen to customers complaints and assist in addressing their issues and resolving challenges

Ensure adherence to health and safety laws

Follow up customers to obtain feedback and ensure they are satisfied with the service

Skills:

Goal driven

Sound understanding of safety precautions

Demonstrated ability to determine causes of errors and good resolution judgment

Profound ability to determine what type of tools will be used in which situation

Proven ability to detect problems and perform troubleshooting procedures

Ability to handle machinery ,material handling equipment and power tools

Excellent ability to perform all the above, keeping in mind company standards and procedures

Able to communicate with all levels of the organization

Requirements:

Excellent people and communication skills

Knowledge of caravans and motorhomes

Service centre experience is an advantage

Valid driver’s license and own vehicle

Forklift licence

Computer literate in MS Office

Having experience or knowledge of using Eclipse
